Central Command Post (CCP)

 

The main attributes of the Central Command Post are:

  • To command, supervise and coordinate the operational activities of the Operational Command Centres and the Local Command Posts (OCC/LCP);
     
  • To articulate operational actions with the central bodies of railway operators;
     
  • To coordinate the operational management of occurrences and the relevant information regarding the circulation of trains;
     
  • To prepare a Daily Circulation Report (DCR), which records any events that directly or indirectly affect circulation or the quality of the service.
