The public railway domain is considered to include:

• Railway tracks and branch lines;
   
• Railway tracks and branch lines that have been declassified which have not been disposed of;
   
• The buildings of the stations and halts;
   
• Subsidiary facilities used for infrastructure and operations;
   
• The workshops and equipment used to build, maintain and operate the fixed facilities and rolling stock;
   
• Real estate used for service operations and for housing railway personnel;
   
• The warehouses and facilities for storing material and the fuel reservoirs;
   
• All the assets that constitute the industrial or commercial establishment used for the operations and functioning of the public railway service;
   
• Other assets classified as such by law.
